Steve Milam, CPA/PFS is the owner of Milam & Associates, PLLC. With over 40 years of experience in public and private accounting, he provides full services of tax, financial statements, and financial planning for closely held businesses and their owners. The tax practice includes a balanced mix of small to mid-sized businesses and individuals and handles tax compliance as well as planning and consulting. Financial and accounting services have been performed for manufacturing, distributors, retail, vending, real estate and other industries. His area of practice in personal financial planning includes planning and consultation for estates and trusts and specifically addresses estate planning and retirement planning, uses and applications of individual retirement accounts, and business succession. He is accredited by the AICPA as a Personal Financial Specialist and has presented seminars on a variety of tax, estate planning, retirement, and financial topics. Steve is the past Chairman of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs and has chaired or served on numerous committees. Steve is a past president of the Tulsa Chapter of CPAs and currently oversees the Student Outreach Committee for the Tulsa Chapter. He was a 5-year chairman of the Parks and Recreation division of the Sales Tax Overview Committee for the Third Penny Sales Tax of the City of Tulsa. Steve enjoys golf, snow skiing, racquetball and volleyball. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.
