We utilize several third party vendors to complete the tax return preparation projects. The software we use for tax calculations includes CCH Axcess (previously ProSystem Tax), Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, Intuit QuickBooks, and Microsoft 365. To send documents securely as well as our recommended way of receiving sensitive data, we use ShareSafe. To obtain digital signatures for e-file authorizations, we use eSign through CCH. We strongly suggest you always utilize the ShareSafe upload option on this website when sending sensitive documents. Please be aware when using your phone and taking a photo of tax documents, deleting this file after sending to our firm can ensure keeping your personal information safe.

Milam and Associates will never share your personal information to a third party without your written consent. Should you decide you would like our firm to discuss your tax matters with a family member other than spouse, a personal assistant familiar with your personal information, or banker or trust officer, you will need to provide a signed consent (click HERE to download a blank consent form valid for one year) to our firm. Additionally, when completed tax returns are to be picked up by a third party, Milam and Associates will conceal all tax documents in a sealed envelope or box.
